Is it too late to schedule a newborn photography session after the first 2 weeks of my baby’s birth?

While the first 2 weeks are often the best timeframe to schedule a photoshoot, don’t be frustrated if you miss it. However, because newborns begin to stretch and extend their arms and legs after 2 weeks, more wrapped poses may be used during the newborn photography session to ensure your baby remains comfortable and secure.

What should I wear for the newborn photoshoot?

We recommend wearing white, black, or any neutral colour clothes that you are comfortable in for your baby photoshoot. Rest assured that our photographer will be on hand to guide you and ensure you and your newborn feel relaxed and beautiful throughout the photography session.

How can I prepare for a baby photoshoot?

To prepare for a baby photoshoot, consider feeding your baby beforehand to keep them content during the session. Bring along any special outfits or props you'd like to include in the photos. It's also helpful to discuss any specific poses or themes with your photographer beforehand.

What happens if my baby is fussy or uncooperative during the photoshoot?

Our professional baby photographers are experienced in handling newborns and infants. They understand that babies can be unpredictable and will work patiently to soothe them and create a relaxed atmosphere. Newborn photography sessions can be adjusted or rescheduled if necessary.

When is the Ideal Time To Schedule a Newborn Photoshoot?

The optimal time to schedule a newborn photography session is typically within the first two weeks after birth, as your little one is often sleeping during this period. This makes it easier to capture your bundle of joy in various precious, curled-up poses. We recommend reaching out to us early, usually after your 20-week scan, to ensure ample preparation time for the shoot.

Up to 1/2 hour of photoshoot in studio.
Approx 30 photographs will be taken.
10 selected softcopies (1400 x 2100px printable to A4 size) colour corrected returned.
